Coca Cola Bottling Plant, Jefferson Street, Nashville Ga.
J.R. "Dick" Bennett started work with the Valdosta Bottling Plant in 1913.
In the 1920's he moved from Valdosta to Nashville and established a branch bottling plant on Jefferson St. After a few years of actually bottling Coca Cola the plant closed and became a Coca Cola warehouse. This picture shows some of the equipment used in the bottling process. The young man in the foreground is unknown to me but in the background is Fred Taylor who was employed in the actual bottling process and truck delivery. (Courtesy of Jack Bennett, son of J. R. Bennett, Sr.)
