Alethea Turner pursued acting and singing, following receiving a degree in drama at UCLA, and, was in David Merrick's Production of "A Cactus Flower," which toured the United States circa 1968-1969. Thereafter, she moved to New York City, where she appeared in Off Broadway plays, singing and acting, as well as performing her caberet show of song and dance in New York.
