The Chester D. Shaw farm home, built about 1910. Mr. Shaw built this home, his third in 10 years, after selling his home in Nashville. He died in this home in 1912, at the age of 37, when he swallowed a quail bone and it lodged in his lower bowels. He died of peritonitis a few days later. The home has recently been remodled and restored. - Berrien County Georgia Historical Photos
