---------------JUDGE WILLIAM DANIEL (JACK) KNIGHT---------------- -----JUDGE OF SUPERIOR COURTS OF THE ALAPAHA JUDICIAL CIRCUIT---- ------------------MAY 24,1977-DECEMBER 31.1996------------------- He Served as Administrative Judge of the 2nd Judicial Administrative District from June 01,1990 to May 30,1992.Became a Senior Judge in 1997. Born in Ray City, Georgia on March 2, 1934. Son of E. M. “Hun” Knight and Gladys Daniel Knight. Both were lifelong residents of Berrien County. H. H. Knight, his grandfather, represented Berrien County in Georgia House of Representatives in 1892-93, and was also county commissioner in Berrien County. Jack was educated in public schools of Berrien County and graduated from Ray City High School in 1951. He received his BS degree in business administration from Valdosta State College in 1955 and JD degree in law from University of Georgia School of Law in 1958, and admitted to Bar of Georgia that same year. He is married to the former Jane Stallings of Nashville, Georgia, and father of two children, Elizabeth Knight Bobbitt, and W. Dan Knight, Jr. - Berrien County Georgia Historical Photos
